July 12th The Curtis Salgado Band (Blues/Soul) $16.00
“Monstrously talented”, N.W. music legend Curtis Salgado was the inspiration behind John Belushi & Dan Aykroyd’s act the “Blues Brothers”. In fact, Belushi dedicated their first Blues Brothers album to Curtis. Curtis also was lead vocalist for Santana in 1995. Obviously, we are very excited to have Curtis on stage for what will be an amazing kick-off to this years concert series.

July 19th The Linda Hornbuckle Band (Blues/Jazz) $14.00
I am not sure if Linda has been referred to as the Queen of the Oregon music scene but that is my personal opinion. The very best! Soul from head to toe! She will be bringing back her band featuring Janice Scroggins on piano for her 5th consecutive year. Thank-you Linda!

July 26th Loch Lomond (Chamber Folk) $14.00
We have never seen this band perform live but we heard that they had just sold out the Aladdin theater. So, we went to their website. We are totally hooked. The 6-9 performers are a long respected group of Portland’s finest folk musicians. Guitar, cello, vocals ,saw, violin, drums ,bass. The Oregonian -“delicate, haunting music.”

August 2nd Freak Mountain Ramblers (Undescribable!) $12.00
Let’s see......Alt. Country, Jazz, Rock & Roll, Bluegrass....hmm? 2 of the band guys were original members of the notorious 70's/80's band The Holy Modal Rounders. Another one was Dan Hick’s lead guitarist for 8 years. That should tell it all. The FMR’s have worked together for the past 10 years with the spotlight rotating among 4 lead singers. They pack everywhere they play and are one of McMennamins favorite touring bands. Special appearance by Jazzy VanDemarr & the Freak Mountain Fire Dancers.

August 9th Blue Turtle Seduction (Rock/Roots/Americana) $14.00
Excerpt of review for Blue Turtle Seduction's release of their new record “13 floors”-
"13 floors is an international rump shaker, brightly melodic mind-bomb, their increasingly complex vocals are downright lovely."
They have been compared to Duran Duran & the String Cheese Incident. They have played music from New York City to San Francisco to the July ‘08- 4 Peaks Music Festival in Bend. Now us!

August 16th Hot Club Sandwich (Gypsy Jazz) $13.00
This 6 piece acoustic swing/jazz band was inspired by the music of Django Rheinhardt who happens to be one of my all time favorite musicians. We feel very lucky that they are making the trip from Seattle to perform for us.
